Kimmel Foundation

The Richard P. Kimmel and Laurine Kimmel Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a private philanthropic foundation created by Richard P. Kimmel and his wife, Laurine Kimmel. It was incorporated in Nebraska in 1988. The Foundation became active after Richard Kimmel's death in 1996.

The objective of the Foundation is to support innovative ideas from organizations from Nebraska and Iowa which promise substantial impact and which may encourage others to make similar or larger grants. The Foundation seeks ideas which provide leadership in the field, and which contribute to the organization's mission and service to its constituents. Highest priority is given to proposals in Education, Arts, Agriculture, Human Services, and the Humanities.
