Fruits Kimmel Orchard's fresh produce market offers tree-ripened fruit to thousands of visitors each year, including 20 varieties of apples and wide selection of cherries, peaches, plums, pears and raspberries. Fruit raised at the orchard is used to season specialty meats, to create unique fruit wines and other beverages, and produce a wide range of jams, jellies, pies and other tasty treats. The 90-acre orchard is also home to a 6.5-acre vineyard, which produces table grapes as well as grapes for juice and for Kimmel's new wine label.  |

Vegetables The vegetable garden at Kimmel Orchard offers a cornucopia of seasonal garden favorites including tomatoes, cabbages, cucumbers, sweet corn, radishes, onions, beans, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, egg plant, several varieties of squash, pumpkins and peppers, and a colorful assortment of ornamental corn varieties and gourds favored by fall decorators. |

Processing Apple and cherry cider are available year-round at the Apple Barn's fresh produce market, which in addition to seasonal fruits and vegetables also offers honey, caramel apples, apple doughnuts, popcorn, fresh and frozen pies, locally produced Farmer's Choice meats and selection of Nebraska wines. |
